My years of experience in cycling, and the constant search for the ideal position, has brought "Bike Metrics" to life.

With a combination of "know-how" and "state of the art" technologie, we at Bikemertrics ensure that from now on you can always cycle pain-free and with maximum output.

My personal search for the ideal position started 23 years ago.

Back then during the  famous Paris-Roubaix MTB race in the roaring '90s.

I soon noticed that the position for this race was not at all fit for the 7 stage race a few weeks later.

After back problems and sleeping feet, it started to dawn that "one-size-fits-all" certainly didn't apply.

Many years later, and still bitten by the cycling bug, the question is still there.

Which position for which discipline? What is my ideal position?

I got into ultra-racing a few years ago. Races from 750km to 1500km in accross the globe… really captured my imagination. But this certainly required another bicycle adjustment (again).

When you are in the saddle for more than 50 hours (and with a minimum of sleep), then comfort and position on your bike are really the key word.

Every position, for every discipline, on every bike is different.
